Families

You don't have to navigate SEND on your own

Sometimes you know something isn't working, but you're not sure what support is available or what to do next. You may be preparing for a school meeting, trying to understand an EHCP, exploring an assessment or looking for ways to support your child's needs at home and school.

We offer individual guidance, practical support and opportunities to connect with others. You don't need to know exactly which service you need before contacting us.

Individual SEND support

Understanding the SEN Register and the support your child receives.

Exploring whether school support is meeting their needs.

Preparing for school meetings and reviews.

EHC needs assessment applications.

Reviewing draft EHCPs and suggested amendments.

Understanding local authority decisions and exploring appeal options.

Preparing evidence and understanding SEND processes.

We will explain the support we can offer and agree any paid work beforehand.

Hands Showing Support

Understanding needs and finding practical strategies

We can explore sensory differences, emotional regulation, communication, behaviour, demand avoidance, emotionally based school avoidance, transitions and everyday routines. Our approach is individual and focuses on understanding barriers and practical options. We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

Funded community support

Subject to available funding and places, we provide free SEND drop-ins, parent and carer workshops, and short virtual advice appointments. Dates and availability change as sessions are delivered.

EarlyBird Plus and Teen Life

We are recently trained facilitators for the National Autistic Society’s EarlyBird Plus and Teen Life programmes, supporting parents and carers of autistic children and young people. If your school or organisation would be interested in offering either programme to families, please get in touch to discuss how we could facilitate delivery.
